Our goal for Virtual Museum is double sided. The first side of our goal is to put information at your fingertips! We believe that the most important kind of education is the kind that you seek out yourself. By pairing the scope of Wikipedia and the unique power of the Smithsonian Institute’s open access program, we want to empower you to stay curious. With this app we hope to demonstrate the power of technology in how we learn and grow.

The second side is to provide an alternative path to a meaningful educational experience that traditionally could only be attained through physical travel. With these powerful technologies we want to create the same experience as visiting a museum that is more inclusive and accessible. Through the Virtual Museum our goal is to create an authentic museum experience that can be accessed immediately and regardless of location.

Our desire is that as the Virtual Museum improves and grows that we can help innovate the museum experience. By pursuing our goals one day we hope that an immersive and informative tour of any museum may be only a few clicks away!
